A Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ) is used by buyers to assess whether a supplier or contractor meets their requirements before progressing further in a procurement or tender process. In public procurement, you may see the term Selection Questionnaire (SQ), while PQQ is still commonly used more broadly.

Yes. If a customer has asked you to register with Achilles or Avetta, we can help you understand the requirement, organise your evidence and prepare the information requested. Both are independent of Goldenpath and make their own decisions, and Goldenpath has no role in approving suppliers.
Can Goldenpath help with EcoVadis?
Yes. We can help you organise relevant evidence and prepare information for an EcoVadis questionnaire. EcoVadis carries out its own assessment and scoring. Goldenpath does not control or influence the outcome.
What documents do I need for supplier pre-qualification?
It depends on the buyer or scheme. Requests commonly involve company information, insurance evidence, relevant policies, records and any certificates you hold, but the exact list is set by whoever is asking. The best starting point is the specific requirement in front of you, and we can help you break it down.
Do I need CHAS, Constructionline or SafeContractor?
Not necessarily. It depends on what your customers, contractors or tender buyers require. Some name a particular scheme, while others may accept alternatives or ask their own questions, so check with the customer first. We can help you understand what has been requested and what to do next.
Can my ISO certification help with supplier questionnaires?
It may do. Existing management system documentation and records can be useful evidence for some questions. However, ISO certification does not automatically satisfy a third-party scheme or buyer, because each assesses against its own requirements. We can help you work out what is relevant and where extra evidence is needed.
Can Goldenpath manage supplier compliance on an ongoing basis?
Yes. If supplier questionnaires, customer requirements and scheme renewals are a regular part of your business, we can provide ongoing support through a Named Compliance Manager, keeping the documents, evidence and actions organised rather than starting again each time.
Do you submit applications on our behalf?
We prepare the documentation, draft responses and work with you through the submission. You review and approve everything before it goes in, because your business remains responsible for the accuracy of what it declares. The scheme or buyer then makes its own decision.
What is SSIP?
SSIP (Safety Schemes in Procurement) is a forum designed to reduce duplication in health and safety pre-qualification. Some buyers may ask for an assessment through an SSIP-recognised scheme, while others may specify their own requirements or a particular platform. Always check exactly what your customer or buyer will accept.
How much does support cost?
We'll discuss the requirement with you first and confirm the scope and cost before work begins. Any third-party scheme membership or assessment fees are separate and paid to the relevant provider.
